Good food, generally good service. Parking can be cramped. Always clean.
The manager offered us free desserts to go, to make up for the issues. She also said she’d reduce our bill.
We were supposed to get endless fries but the waitress never brought any.
After not going to Red Robin for a quite awhile. We thought we would go back to check it out. The last time we had went, they had reduced their menu. On this visit, they have brought a lot more selection back to their menu. The food didn't taste much different today than it did then. However, they didn't bother to bring or offer my wife more fries. So their bottomless fries are pointless. They have definitely increased their prices as well.
By the time the desserts were ready, our waitress clearly had an attitude. She dropped off the bill and we were charged for the desserts...also received no discount on the bill.
Went to a local Red Robin. Had numerous issues-iced tea wasn’t presweetened. We asked for a correction and got it, but the waitress didn’t remove the other glasses. They sat there the entire time we were there, until the manager sat with us. (We didn’t invite the manager over-she asked how our dinner was and I said it was just okay. That prompted more questions.)
The waitress hadn’t asked how I wanted my burger cooked, but my son was asked. Mine was too pink in the middle. It was also not very good. It was supposed to have tortilla chips in it and there were none.
This is a chain restaurant and as those go a pretty good one. I can say that this is the best red robin location that my family and I have ever been to. With 2 teenage bottomless pit boys the endless fries are very welcome. The place is run very well and always has a great staff and a clean environment. We actually stopped going to the Grand Rapids location due to poor service and consistently being busy.
Might consider going there again, but not anytime soon. Not the first time they’ve screwed up.
I asked her to have the manager return to our table. She didn’t. However, the bill was adjusted to remove the desserts and give us a decent discount.
Waitress was very friendly. The manager came over and chatted with us a bit just to see how everything was going. She, too, was very friendly. Food was very good as well.
