Awesome park. Short hike to Lake Michigan with incredible view. Dog friendly - including bags. Port a potty for the people. picnic tables too.
This is one of the best destinations in the area. It starts as a dog and family friendly park with a magnificent view of dunes.
From there, you can choose to walk down a paved path or a wooded trail between a couple dunes to get a long, private feeling beach on Lake Michigan.
There are a couple of staircases with great views of the lake, and what feels like miles of trails through the woods. You really can't ask for much more!
Amazing hidden gem of a beach. A small walk gets you to a small but long beach. There are more trails to explore too! Plenty of open grassy areas as well for picnics and gatherings. Has porta bathrooms and picnic tables.
